Please read these terms carefully before using our courier and delivery services.

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the courier and delivery services provided by MBL Connect ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
MBL Connect is a courier and logistics company registered in England and Wales, operating from Lyntown Yard, Lyntown Trading Estate, Eccles, Manchester M30 9QG.
2. Definitions
- "Customer" means the person or business requesting our services
- "Consignment" means the goods to be collected and delivered
- "Sender" means the party from whom the consignment is collected
- "Recipient" means the party to whom the consignment is delivered
- "Services" means all courier and delivery services we provide
3. Our Services
We provide the following services:
- Same day delivery within the UK
- Next day delivery services
- Time-critical and urgent deliveries
- Dedicated courier services
- International delivery to Europe and worldwide
- Specialist handling for fragile and high-value items
4. Booking and Quotes
4.1 Obtaining a Quote
Quotes are provided based on the information you supply. Prices may be adjusted if the actual consignment differs from what was described (e.g., size, weight, or special handling requirements).
4.2 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when you accept our quote and we provide written confirmation (including email). The booking creates a binding contract subject to these Terms.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses
- Ensure the consignment is properly packaged and labelled
- Provide accurate descriptions of contents, weight, and dimensions
- Ensure someone is available at pickup and delivery locations
- Notify us of any special handling requirements
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding the items being shipped
- Not include prohibited items in consignments
6. Prohibited Items
We do not transport:
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
- Explosives or flammable materials
- Hazardous or dangerous goods (unless pre-agreed)
- Live animals
- Human remains
- Cash, bearer instruments, or cryptocurrency hardware wallets
- Counterfeit goods
- Items prohibited by UK law
If prohibited items are found, we may refuse carriage, and you will be liable for any costs incurred.
7. Collection and Delivery
7.1 Collection
Our driver will collect the consignment from the specified address. If no one is available at the pickup location, we may charge a failed collection fee.
7.2 Delivery
We will deliver to the address specified. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed as a time-critical service. If no one is available, we will attempt to contact you for alternative arrangements.
7.3 Proof of Delivery
We obtain a signature or photo proof of delivery. This constitutes proof that the consignment was delivered.
8. Pricing and Payment
8.1 Pricing
Prices are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for incorrect information or additional services required.
8.2 Payment Terms
Payment is due as agreed at booking. For account customers, invoices are payable within 30 days unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
9. Insurance and Liability
9.1 Standard Insurance
All consignments are covered by our standard insurance up to £10,000. Additional cover can be arranged for higher-value items at extra cost.
9.2 Liability Limitations
Our liability is limited to:
- The value of the goods lost or damaged (up to insurance limit)
- The cost of redelivery for failed deliveries due to our fault
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profit, business, or revenue
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
- Damage caused by inadequate packaging
- Loss or damage to prohibited or undeclared items
9.3 Claims
Claims for loss or damage must be notified to us within 7 days of delivery (or expected delivery for lost items). Claims must be submitted in writing with supporting evidence.
10. Cancellations
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- Before driver dispatch: No charge
- After driver dispatch but before collection: 50% of quoted price
- After collection: Full quoted price
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, government actions, pandemics, or traffic incidents.
12. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
